Big Boy Tomato

Some of my Big Boy tomatoes are ripening with yellow spots/streaks and are very soft. What might be wrong?

mosiac disease
by: Anonymous

I had the same problem last year. After some research the best possible answer was the tomato mosiac disease or the tomato spotted wilt virus.

I have read that you should pull out your plants and cover your soil with plastic to "kill" off any remaining virus in your soil until next spring.

For more info on these diseases as well as other common tomato diseases check out....

Good Luck!
